I offer a free half hour introductory session, and welcome any questions you might have about counselling and my practice in order to support you in deciding whether I might be the right counsellor for you at this time.
Sessions are for one hour usually on a weekly basis. We will agree a session time that is convenient for you and you can have that time for as long as we have contracted. I am able to offer in person sessions, video calls, or by phone. I am able to offer morning or afternoon appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
My fee is £55 per session, payable prior to our appointment by bank transfer or cash on arrival. I do not take credit cards. Missed appointments are charged for unless 24 hours notice is given of cancellation.
I offer a confidential service. This means I do not discuss anything that arises from the counselling sessions. However there are limits to this: I will need to discuss the work (without identifying my clients) with my supervisor, to ensure that I am offering the best service within an ethical framework. I also reserve the right to break confidentiality if I have serious concerns about someone's safety, whether that is the client or another person. In this instance I would make every attempt to speak to the client concerned and to discuss the best way of taking matters forward.
